Yaller Corn Bread with Pintos

Ingredients


1 1/2 Cups Buttermilk
3 Eggs
3 Tablespoons Sugar
1 Teaspoon Baking Soda
1/2 Cup Ranch Beans
1/2 Cup Corn Kernels
1 Cup Flour (all purpose)
1 1/2 Cups Cornmeal (fine yellow)
1/2 Cup Butter (unsalted)
Great cornbread from the american cowboy.


Directions


Preheat oven to 375F

Butter or oil 8" x 8" pan

Melt butter

Combine buttermilk, eggs, sugar and soda and mix well

Add beans and corn.

Sift together flour and cornmeal

Slowly whisk flour mixture into wet ingredients

Whisk in butter.

Pour into pan and bake 40 minutes.
