Pumpkin pie
Ingredients 3 eggs, well beaten 1 cup sugar 1 tsp salt 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp nutmeg (I consider this optional because I'm not a big fan of nutmeg) 1/2 tsp of ginger 2 cups evaporated milk 2 cups pumpkin 1 tsp vanilla ***substitution of 2 cups of pumpkin butter can be made for the pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger - we've made our own and it's fabulous!)

Directions
Mix all ingredients thoroughly.
Pour mixture into prepared pie shell.
Bake at 450 degrees for 20 minutes.
Lower oven to 400 degrees and cook for another 30 minutes or until a knife inserted into the middle of the pie comes out clean.
