Swiss Steak
Ingredients 1/2 cup flour 2 lbs. Steak 2 T. Fat 1/2 green pepper Salt Pepper Few slices onion 1 cup boiling water Other veggies ( optional) 1 can tomatoes
| Directions
Season flour with salt and pepper. Cut meat into 2 1/2 inch pieces. Pound flour into meat. Brown meat in fat. Add onion, green pepper, boiling water, tomatoes, and other veggies. Cover and simmer for two hours. Serve with mashed potatoes.
