5 Minute Asian Chicken Salad
Ingredients 1 head of romaine lettuce 1 large boneless, skinless chicken breast, or 2 medium 1 - 8 ounce can of mandarin oranges 1/2 cup of dried chow mein noodles 1 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil 1 tsp. ground ginger 1/4 tsp. garlic salt 2 tbsp. teriyaki sauce 4 tbsp. Newman's Own Lighten Up Low Fat Sesame Ginger salad dressing
| This easy salad is a breeze to cook with only a few ingredients and 5 minutes of prep time!
Directions
Chop uncooked chicken into 1/2 inch cubes. Sprinkle with garlic salt and ginger. Sautee in olive oil over medium- high heat until chicken is no longer pink on the outside. Add teriyaki sauce and reduce heat to medium. Continue to cook chicken until it is cooked thoroughly.
While chicken cooks, rinse lettuce and pat dry. Dice into bite-sized pieces and arrange evenly on two large dinner plates. Drizzle salad dressing over lettuce.
Sprinkle cooked chicken, mandarin oranges, and chow mein noodles on top of salad. Serves 2.
