4 Cups dashi (soup stock)
3 Tablespoons shiro (white) miso paste
3 Tablespoons aka (red) miso paste
1 Package tofu
sansho pepper for seasoning, to taste
An easy miso soup recipe from the Kyoto Cooking School.
Cut the tofu into 1/2-inch cubes.
Boil the dashi soup stock and mix the rest in.
Serve in individual bowls! Sprinkle some sansho pepper on top if you like it.
