Honey and Mustard Glazed Gammon Steak

4 lean gammon steaks
Half teaspoon ground allspice
2 Granny Smith apples, cored and sliced
3 tablespoons clear honey
4 tablespoons apple juice
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
Instructions: 
• Preheat oven to 180 C (gasmark 4). Make perpendicular cuts into the edges of the steaks all the way around to stop them curling up when cooked. Sprinkle with the allspice and put into a baking dish. Put the chopped apples around the edges of the steaks.
• Mix together the honey, apple juice and mustard in a bowl. Pour the mixture over the steaks and apples.
• Bake for 15 minutes, basting occasionally, until the apples are tender and the steaks are cooked.
• Serve, with any remaining glaze in the dish poured over the steaks.
