Ingredients


3 Cups Flour
1 Cup Sugar
1 1/2 Teaspoons Baking Powder
1/2 Teaspoon Salt
1 Cup Butter, softened
1 Egg, slightly beaten
3 Tablespoons Cream
1 Teaspoon Vanilla or Almond Extract


I usually make 2 batches, one with vanilla and one with the Almond extract (although, I think I like the Almond just a touch more). This recipe makes about 3 dozens of cookies.


Directions


Sift dry ingredients.

Cut in butter, and add other ingredients, blend well.

Chill in fridge for several hours.

Take a piece of dough the size of an orange.

Use a rolling pin on floured dough (2:1 ratio flour/sugar) roll to 1/4 inch thick.

Cut out in shapes and put on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.

Bake 5-8 minutes at 400 F degrees.
