Crock-pot Porridge for two

Ingredients


2 Tablespoons cracked wheat
6 Tablespoons steel cut oats
2 Tablespoons rye flakes
2 Tablespoons brown rice
1 Tablespoon wheat germ
1 2/3 Cups vanilla soy milk
2 Tablespoons raisins
2 Tablespoons chopped dates
1 Teaspoon vanilla
Dash nutmeg
Delicious breakfast!


Directions


Put all ingredients into crock-pot and cook on low for 8 hours. Do this just before bed and when you wake up a delicious breakfast will be waiting for you.

Notes: I love the whole cookbook by Tosca Reno as cited below. This is the recipe I have probably made the most. Because there as so many ingredients what I often do is pre -measure out all the ingredients (except the soy-milk) into little ziplock tubs. I do several at a time assembly line style and store them in the back of my fridge. Then it's super quick to dump the container and add the soy milk.
